FOB Trustpilot

A comprehensive Trustpilot integration plugin for Botble CMS that enables you to display customer reviews and ratings on your website through various customizable widgets, helping build trust and credibility with potential customers.

Requirements

• Botble core 7.5.0 or higher.
• PHP 8.2 or higher.

Installation

Install via Admin Panel

Go to the Admin Panel and click on the Plugins tab. Click on the "Add new" button, find the FOB Trustpilot plugin and click on the "Install" button.

Install manually

1. Download the plugin from the Botble Marketplace.
2. Extract the downloaded file and upload the extracted folder to the platform/plugins directory.
3. Go to Admin > Plugins and click on the Activate button.

Usage

Initial Setup

1. Sign up for a Trustpilot Business account at business.trustpilot.com
2. Navigate to Settings > Trustpilot in your admin panel
3. Enter your Business Unit ID (found in Trustpilot Business account under Settings → API)
4. Configure display preferences and save

Using Shortcodes

Display a Trustpilot widget anywhere using:

[trustpilot-widget]

Override the default template:

Using Widgets

1. Go to Appearance > Widgets
2. Drag the "Trustpilot Reviews" widget to your desired area
3. Configure widget-specific settings

Configuration Options

Access settings at Settings > Trustpilot:

• Enable/Disable: Toggle Trustpilot integration on/off
• Business Unit ID: Your unique Trustpilot identifier (required)
• Display Position: Choose automatic or manual placement
• Widget Template: Select from available widget designs
• Theme: Light or dark mode
• Language: Select display language
• Custom Styling: Add colors, fonts, and custom CSS
